Dream within the WaterAs I lay down by the lake shore, With the moon shining down so pure, I look into the water and what do I see? A beautiful girl looking back at me! With hair as brilliant as the moon, She begins to sing a lulling tune. Is she real? I cannot tell. Is she a creature of heaven, or a demon of hell? Then she touches me with a gentle hand, Soothing me all over with a feeling so grand. Her eyes, green as leaves on a tree, From underneath, stare up at me.
